Two-car crash on Sam Houston Pkwy causes traffic delays

HOUSTON, TX – A crash on the Sam Houston Parkway yesterday caused traffic delays of nearly an hour, according to a tweet by the Harris County Constable for Precinct 4.

The crash happened in the 7600 block of N Sam Houston Pkwy W, at the intersection with Tomball Parkway, and was reported by authorities at 4:10 p.m.
The accident involved two vehicles, though the exact circumstances of the crash were not revealed.
Authorities did not identify the drivers or specify if anyone was injured in the crash. They did, however, warn drivers of traffic delays in the area, and advised travelers to find an alternate route.
The crash was cleared at 5:03 p.m.
