El Paso—Juan Manuel Pasillas Struck and Killed by Car on Sun Valley Drive

The El Paso Police Department is still looking for the vehicle that struck and killed a pedestrian on Sun Valley Drive last Saturday morning.
At around 1:00 a.m., a man was walking across the intersection of Sun Valley Drive and Dyer Street when he was struck by a light-colored, four-door sedan. Following the collision, another vehicle, identified as a 2015 Dodge Challenger then struck the victim.
Police identified the victim as 47-year-old Juan Manuel Pasillas. He was pronounced dead on scene. Special traffic investigators said that the driver of the first vehicle escaped while the second driver stayed at the scene and render aid to the victim. Two pedestrians who were with Pasillas also fled after the crash.
Investigators are still looking for the hit-and-run driver and the two pedestrians. Their identifications have not been disclosed.
