Man dies from injuries in crash on North Eldridge Parkway

HOUSTON, TX – A man involved in a car accident on North Eldridge Parkway on August 7 has died from his injuries, according to the Houston Police Department.
The 32-year-old was a passenger in a maroon Kia Sorento when he had a possible psychiatric episode and leaped out of the vehicle. He landed near 4300 North Eldridge Parkway. He was then hit by the 74-year-old driver of a Mercedes that did not stop. Authorities later found the driver, who said she did not realize she had hit a man in the middle of the roadway. She was not arrested.
The victim was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries. He passed away on Saturday. August 15.
