At least one dead in Richmond car accident

RICHMOND, TX (FORT BEND COUNTY) – At least one person was killed in a car accident yesterday in Fort Bend County, according to the official Twitter account of the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office.
The crash at the intersection of Farm-to-Market Road 762 and Farm-to-Market Road 1194 was reported by the Sheriff’s Office at 4:51 p.m.
At least two air ambulances were dispatched to the crash, and FBCSO confirmed there was one fatality on the scene.
The accident caused police to close the intersection for investigation and cleanup, and they advised travelers to avoid the route if possible. The roadway reopened about five hours later at 9:50 p.m.
