Denton–Joshua Gulley Identified Victim in Fatal Train Crash

Authorities have named the victim who died after getting struck by a freight train early Wednesday morning, according to a police news release.
Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s officials say that the victim was identified as 26-year-old Joshua Gulley. He was reportedly enrolled at the University of North Texas last 2017 to 2018.
At around 2:00 a.m., local authorities received a call reporting an accident at South Locust Street and Interstate 35E. Denton police said that Gulley was walking on the railroad tracks when a Union Pacific Railroad train struck him.
No other injuries were reported
Local emergency crews arrived at the scene to gather more information surrounding the accident. The investigation is still ongoing.
