Victim dies from injuries from hit-and-run on Liberty Road

HOUSTON, TX – A press release from the Houston Police Department reports that the victim in a hit-and-run crash reported on June 20 has died from their injuries.
The victim was crossing the street near 3700 Liberty Road when they were hit by a tan SUV, either a GMC Yukon or a Chevrolet Tahoe. The driver of the unknown vehicle did not stop at the scene.
The victim was transported to Memorial Hermann with critical injuries. He was declared dead on June 30.
Authorities believe the driver of the car was a Hispanic male in his 20s or 30s. If you have any information about the crash, contact the HPD Hit-and-Run Unit at 713-247-4072.
