Bus from Houston crashes in Live Oak County on the way to Mexico

LIVE OAK COUNTY, TEXAS – A bus from Houston was involved in a head-on collision in Live Oak County while traveling to Mexico, KHOU 11 reports.
Authorities say the bus was traveling south on US 59 when a Chevrolet passenger car veered over the road’s centerline and crashed into the bus. Twenty people were on the bus at the time of the collision, including the driver.
The driver of the Chevy was transported to a hospital in Corpus Christi in serious condition. One passenger on the bus was hospitalized for less serious injuries and other passengers were treated for minor injuries at the scene.
The investigation into the crash remains open.
