Firefighter injured after being hit by car

HOUSTON, TEXAS – A firefighter was hospitalized after being hit by a passing vehicle on the morning of Wednesday, May, according to Click2Houston.
The officer was parked outside of a mobile home at 14000 Walters Road when she was hit by the car while getting out of an emergency vehicle. The firefighter was taken to the hospital but has already been released.
The civilian that hit the woman has been issued a citation.
