UPDATE: Pedestrian killed in crash on the Southwest Freeway

HOUSTON, TEXAS – The Houston Police Department has issued a memo on the fatal Southwest Freeway crash that was reported yesterday, Wednesday, May 20.
The memo reports that a male pedestrian was running across the lanes of the highway when he was struck by a gray Cadillac DeVille. The victim was declared dead at the scene. Police found his disabled vehicle on the side of the road and believe he was attempting to stop it from being towed.
No charges have been filed in this case.
