Vehicle crashes into light pole on I-45 North in Spring, killing three

HOUSTON, TX. – Three people are dead after a single-vehicle crash on Sunday morning.
According to ABC 13, the accident occurred on the I-45 North Freeway between Cypresswood and Louetta on the southbound shoulder of the interstate. The Harris County Sheriff’s Office reports that the vehicle was exiting the freeway off-ramp at normal speed when it struck a light pole. The vehicle also caught fire shortly after the crash.
The two main southbound lanes of the interstate were closed as emergency crews worked to clear the crash. No further details on the cause of the collision have been released at this time.
