Houston—Anthony Coleman Killed in Car Crash on West Loop

One of the victims who died in a fatal multi-car accident on West Loop has been identified, medical examiner’s officials announced last Monday.
According to reports, the chain-reaction collision took place at around 2:00 a.m. on West Loop near Beechnut Street. A vehicle has been disabled along Beechnut where it was struck by another car, prompting a multi-car crash. Authorities have yet to identify the vehicles involved in the pile up.
The impact of the collision killed two people–one of them was identified as Anthony Coleman. The name of the other fatality has not been disclosed pending identification and notification of family.
No other injuries were reported.
Houston police continue to investigate the crash and determine the factors that contributed to it. They are still confirming if alcohol played a role in the car pile-up.
