Man shot while helping wife after car crash in Houston

HOUSTON, TX – A man was hospitalized with gunshot wounds after being shot by his neighbor in southeast Houston late Saturday according to KTRK.
According to Houston Police, the victim came home to Lenora, near Glenview to help his wife, who had been involved in a car accident earlier that day.
Police report the man got into an argument with a neighbor unrelated to the accident.
The neighbor then pulled a gun and shot the man multiple times.
The man was taken to an area hospital, and did not sustain any life-threatening injuries.
Houston police report that the suspected shooter is not yet in custody. He left the scene before police arrived.
