San Antonio – Pedestrian Struck by Car on WW White Identified

San Antonio police officials have named the pedestrian who died in a hit-and-run crash on South WW White Road last March 20th.
The fatality was identified as 63-year-old Amanda Carrillo.
Just after 10:00 p.m., police responded to South WW White to assist in an auto vs pedestrian collision. According to the initial investigation, Amanda Carrillo was walking across the road, near a commercial establishment, when a passing vehicle struck her. The impact of the crash killed Carrillo instantly. The driver of the vehicle did not stop to render aid to the victim. He was no longer on the scene when officers arrived.
No one else was injured.
Area investigators are still working to determine the vehicle involved in the incident as well as the hit and run driver who struck Carrillo.
