San Antonio – Hit-and-Run Crash Leaves 1 Dead on Roosevelt Ave

Last April 2nd, a pedestrian accident resulted in the death of one person on Roosevelt Avenue near Mission Road.

At approximately 11:00 p.m., police were dispatched to Roosevelt Ave near Mission Road following reports of a crash involving a hit-and-run driver. Based on the reports, a person was walking along the roadway when a pickup truck that was heading south struck him. The pedestrian was fatally injured and was immediately taken to Brooke Army Medical Center for treatment. Unfortunately, despite life-saving measures, was pronounced deceased.

The driver of the pickup truck was no longer on the scene when authorities arrived. His whereabouts have yet to be released.

The crash remains under investigation.
