Fannin County – Casey Boone Injured on US 121 Crash

The 35-year-old man who was sent to the hospital following a motorcycle crash on Texas Highway 121 has been identified by the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The incident happened at around 3:30 p.m. along US Highway 121 in Fannin County. A pickup truck was traveling along the highway when it crashed into a motorcycle. As a result, the rider of the motorcycle, Casey Boone, sustained major injuries. She was taken to a local hospital where she received proper medical attention. Her condition was not immediately released. Fortunately, the driver of the pickup truck was not hurt. He was identified as 80-year-old Charles Ray Lollis. He was taken into custody on suspicion of DUI.

Responding authorities have yet to determine the circumstances leading up to the crash. The investigation is ongoing.
