Galveston – Motorcycle Collision on Galveston Causeway Leaves 1 Dead

At least one person was pronounced deceased following a motorcycle crash on Galveston Causeway, Sunday.
Based on the report released by Galveston local officials, the incident involved a motorcycle and a rider who was only identified as a man in his 50s. How the crash actually happened remains unclear at this time but it was confirmed that the motorcyclist sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased by emergency crews who responded to the scene.
No one else was injured.
Area investigators were requested at the scene to determine the circumstances leading up to the crash. Anyone who has information about the collision is encouraged to get in contact with the Galveston Police Department.
