Angelina County- School Bus Collision Injures Student on FM 706

One student was sent to a hospital following a crash on Farm to Market Road 706, reports say.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision took place near Porter Road, Wednesday morning. A Hudson ISD school bus was waiting for a student to aboard the bus when, for unknown reasons, it was rear-ended by a 1995 Ford pickup truck.
The impact of the collision left one person, only identified as a student, with injuries. He was rushed to a local hospital for treatment. Local emergency crews did not release his identification and the extent of his injuries.
The driver of the school bus was identified as 60-year-old Richard Reeves while the pickup truck driver was a 57-year-old Lufkin resident named  David Snyder. Both of them were not injured.
No citations have been made as the crash remains under investigation.
