Woodway – Auto vs Pedestrian Accident on US 84

A pedestrian accident on US Highway 84 resulted in the death of one person, Woodway police officials reported.

Last March 17th, local responders received a call reporting a crash at around 8:00 p.m. in the 6000 Highway 84 East. According to the initial report, a man reportedly exited the vehicle when he was hit by a passing vehicle. A few moments later, another car struck him which injured him badly. He was taken to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

There was no information about the drivers that struck the pedestrian but authorities said the vehicle the car jumped from was no longer on scene.

The crash remains under investigation by Woodway area investigators. Anyone who has information about the case is encouraged to get in contact with them.
