Sherman County – 2 Killed, 1 Injured on US 287 Collision

Two people were pronounced deceased following a major collision on US Highway 287 in Sherman County, according to a local news source.
Just after 6:00 p.m., police responded to US 287 to assist in a vehicle accident. Police said a vehicle was trying to pass another vehicle when it drove into the path of a third car, prompting a collision. Both drivers of the vehicles that had crashed sustained significant injuries and were pronounced deceased at the scene. A passenger in the second car, identified as Gregory Wagner, also suffered from injuries and was taken to the nearest hospital for treatment. His condition remains undisclosed.
No other casualties were reported.
Area investigators were also requested at the scene to determine the circumstances leading up to the crash.
