Waco – Brandon Rank ID’d Victim of South New Road Crash

A 40-year-old man was seriously hurt following a hit-and-run crash on South New Road in Waco, according to a local news source.

The injured victim was identified as 40-year-old Brandon Rank.

At around 5:00 a.m., police responded to the 100 block of S New Rd following reports of a crash involving a vehicle and a bicycle. Brandon Rank was seen riding his bike along the roadway when an undescribed vehicle struck him. As a result, Rank sustained major injuries and had to be taken to the hospital for treatment. His condition remains undisclosed at this time.

Meanwhile, the driver of the undescribed vehicle was no longer on scene when police arrived.

The crash remains under investigation.
