Texas Department of Public Safety officials said that the bus was carrying at least 20 passengers during the time of the accident. Luckily, no one suffered from serious injuries.
Neither the drivers nor the passengers had to be rushed to a local hospital for treatment.
Further details are to be released as the investigation continues.
Our deepest sympathies go out to the families of the injured victims. We are hoping and praying for a fast recovery of both parties.
Car collisions are extremely prevalent in Texas. According to the Texas Department of Transportation, one person is getting injured in approximately two minutes. Unfortunately, despite the government’s aggressive efforts to educate drivers about safety, the cases of speeding, driving under the influence, and negligence are still on the rise. In fact, most of the common causes of accidents in the state are due to the driver’s lack of awareness and precaution.
