Baytown – Ray Rios Hospitalized Following Auto vs Pedestrian Crash on Hwy 146

Baytown law enforcement officials have identified the man injured in a car accident on Highway 146 near Alexander Drive last Saturday.

The victim was identified as 20-Year-Old Ray Rios.

The incident took place at around 11:00 a.m. in the area of Hwy 146 in Baytown. Ray Rios was beside his truck that was parked on the shoulder of the highway when a passing truck him. Rios was immediately taken to Clear Lake Regional Hospital where he received treatment for his injuries. Responding officers said he has since been released and is expected to recover.

Local investigators are still looking for the driver who struck Rios. He was reportedly driving a tan four-door truck.

Anyone who has information relevant to the case is encouraged to get in contact with Baytown police.
