El Paso – Man Struck by Car on Loop 375

The El Paso Police Department is conducting an investigation about a vehicle accident on Loop 375, early Sunday morning, February 16th.
At around 3:00 a.m., local officers were dispatched to Loop 375 to assist a pedestrian struck by a car. The circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear at this time but it was confirmed that the victim was left with serious injuries due to the force of the impact. He was transported to the nearest hospital where he received proper medical treatment. His identity has not been released at this time.
Area investigators did not provide information about the driver involved. Whether or not he remained at the scene is still to be determined.
The crash remains under investigation.
