Dallas – Man Seriously Injured in Suspected DUI Crash on Midway Rd

A vehicle collision involving a suspected drunk driver sent one person to the hospital, according to a local news source.

Police said the incident took place just after midnight at the intersection of Midway Road and President George Bush Turnpike.

A southbound vehicle was traveling along Midway Rd when it crashed into another car after entering the intersection. After the impact, the second vehicle then spun, struck a traffic signal pole, before coming to rest. Its driver, whose identification has not been released, was seriously injured and was taken to the hospital for further medical attention.

Meanwhile, the driver of the first vehicle reportedly had a flashing red light at the time of the crash. He was taken into custody on suspicion of intoxication. He has not been identified at this time.

No other injuries reported.
