Hedley – Truck Accident on US 287

A fatal car accident on US Highway 287 caused the death of one person and injuries to another, according to a local news source.
Initial investigation shows that a vehicle was seen traveling along the highway when it collided with a truck that was pulling two trailers. Police said the truck was trying to avoid a previous collision with a tractor-trailer but ended up striking the vehicle instead. The driver of the said vehicle was killed upon impact. Meanwhile, another occupant sustained serious injuries and was rushed to the nearest hospital for treatment. He was only identified as a 52-year-old male passenger. The driver’s identity was withheld by responding officers.
No one else was injured.
