Houston – Two-Vehicle collision kills one

One person is killed following a fatal accident involving two vehicles in the 6200 block of Beltway 8, Friday night.

According to initial reports, at around 9:25 p.m. Friday, a minivan is heading south on West Fuqua when it crashed into a Camry at the intersection of South Sam Houston Parkway and Beltway 8. The victim, who was identified only as a 22-year-old man, died as a result of the collision.

Christian Liddell-Campbell, who was behind the wheel of the minivan, was allegedly intoxicated when the crash happened. Authorities are still determining which party had the right of way as the investigation is still in progress.
