Corpus Christi – Bicyclist Struck by Car on Weber Road

A teen was sent to the hospital after a car accident on Weber Road, Monday morning.

According to the initial investigation, the incident took place at the 6200 block of Weber Road at around 8:30 a.m. A bicyclist, identified only as a teen, was seen crossing the Wickersham Street when an undescribed vehicle struck him. The bicycle rider suffered from minor injuries and was transported to the hospital for treatment.

Police believed that the driver of the vehicle was distracted prior to the crash. He was not hurt, as per initial reports.

No charges have been made as the investigation is still in progress.
