Richmond – Head-on Collision on Pitts Rd Kills Motorcyclist

A 66-year-old man was killed in a Saturday morning accident on Pitts Road near Richmond, according to a local news source.
Just before 10:00 a.m., a 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe was traveling along the roadway when, for yet unknown reasons, it drifted into the opposing lanes where it crashed head-on with a 2008 Harley Davidson. The impact of the crash seriously injured the motorcyclist. He was Fort Bend EMS to Oak Bend Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
The driver of the Chevrolet was taken into custody and is facing intoxication manslaughter charges. She was named as 51-year-old Michelle Antonio Keith of Richmond.
The Richmond Police Department arrived at the scene to assist in the clearing. They have yet to release more information about the crash.
