Smith County – 1 Injured Following Vehicle Accident on Highway 64

At least one person was sent to the hospital after a major auto crash on Highway 64 near Toll Road 46, according to a local news source.

At around 9:30 p.m., police officials were called onto the scene of the crash along Hwy 64. When they arrived, they found two vehicles with one having extensive damages on its rear side. How the crash happened remains unclear at this time but it was confirmed that one of the occupants in the vehicles involved sustained injuries as a result of the collision. He was taken to a local hospital where he received proper medical attention.

No one else was injured.

The Smith County Police Department is still investigating the crash. Further details will be available.
