San Angelo – Tyler Grappe Killed in Truck Accident on Texas 306 Loop

The San Angelo Police Department has identified the man who was killed in a car collision on Texas 306 Loop near Ben Ficklin Road, Sunday morning.

Just before 8:00 a.m., a pickup truck was traveling along Loop 306 when, for reasons that had not yet been determined, it drifted off the roadway and crashed into a median. The vehicle continued one and eventually struck a utility pole before landing on an embankment. The driver was killed upon impact.

He was later identified as38-year-old Tyler Grappe.

Area investigators arrived at the scene to determine the reason why Grappe lost control of the truck and left the roadway. No charges ghave been made as the crash remains under investigation at this time.
