San Antonio – Pedestrian Hit by Cars on Division Avenue

A tragic vehicle collision on Division Avenue caused the death of a man, Sunday, according to police reports.

Initial investigation shows that a pedestrian crash was reported on Division Ave near Pleasanton Road at approximately 9:00 p.m. A man was attempted to the other side of the street when a passing black pickup truck struck him. While lying in the roadway, the victim was then struck by another car. The pedestrian, who was only identified as a man in his 50s, sustained critical injuries and was immediately transported to San Antonio Military Medical Center (SAMMC). His condition was not released at this time.

Both drivers of the vehicles involved are cooperating with the officers who responded to the scene. No charges have been made as the investigation is still in progress.
