El Paso – Car Struck Home on Kenworthy Street Leaves 1 Hospitalized

A single-car accident on Kenworthy Street injured at least one person, Monday.

According to the initial report, the incident happened at approximately 1:00 a.m. on Kenworthy St near Junction Avenue. An undescribed vehicle was seen traveling along the roadway when, for reasons that had not yet been determined, its driver lost control of the car. The vehicle drifted off the road and ended up crashing into a nearby home.

When emergency crews arrived at the scene, they found one person suffering from serious injuries. He was immediately taken to a local hospital where he received further medical care. His identification was withheld pending notification of his next of kin.

The El Paso police have yet to determine the reason that caused the vehicle to go out of control. An investigation is underway.
