Clovis – Juana Araiza-Jaramillo Died in Rollover Collision on State Road 77

The man who died following a vehicle accident on State Road 77 in Clovis has been identified by Curry County Sheriff’s Office, a local news source says.

The fatality was identified as 21-year-old Juana Araiza-Jaramillo.

At around 4:30 a.m., police responded to State Road 77 near Curry Road in Clovis. Juana Araiza-Jaramillo was seen driving along the roadway when, for reasons that had not yet been determined, he drifted off the roadway. The car landed into a ditch after rolling over a number of times. The force of the impact seriously injured Araiza-Jaramillo in the process. He was declared deceased by emergency crews who responded at the scene.

Clovis law enforcement officials were requested at the scene to determine the reason that caused Araiza-Jaramillo to lose control of the car. The investigation is still in progress.
