Woodville – Woman Injured in Single-Car Crash on US 190 ID’d

The Texas Department of Public Safety has identified the victim who was hospitalized following a car collision on US Highway 190 last week.
Authorities named the injured driver as 31-year-old Brittani Bass.
According to police reports, Bass was driving a 2019 Chevrolet Tahoe along US 190 when, for reasons that had not yet been determined, she lost control of the car and left the roadway. The Tahoe rolled over a number of times before coming to a complete stop. Emergency crews arrived at the scene and pulled out Bass from the wreckage using the Jaws of Life. She was immediately taken to a nearby hospital with undisclosed injuries. Her condition was not released.
No other injuries were reported.
Woodville police have yet to determine the factors that contributed to the crash. An investigation is underway.
