Denton – Auto Collision on Fort Worth Dr Leaves 1 Injured

The Denton Police Department is conducting an investigation about a car crash on Fort Worth Drive, early Friday morning.

At around 3:00 a.m., local police responded to 700 block of Fort Worth Drive in Denton. According to initial reports, a dark-colored vehicle crashed into a sport utility vehicle. The force of the impact sent the SUV into the path of another car, prompting a chain-reaction collision. The driver of the sedan sustained injuries as a result of the crash. She was then taken into custody on suspicion of DUI.

No one else was injured, as per emergency crews.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone who has information about the collision is encouraged to get in contact with local authorities.
