Austin – Two Hospitalized in Multi-Car Accident on East Braker Lane

A vehicle collision on East Braker Lane in Austin resulted in injuries of two people, including a child, Sunday evening.

At around 7:00 p.m., local police were dispatched to East Braker Ln near Dessau Road to assist in a car accident involving three vehicles. How the accident took place remains unclear at this time but police said one of the vehicles rolled over as a result of the collision. A woman suffered from injuries and was rushed to a local hospital for treatment. Her child was also injured and hospitalized.

No identification was released pending notification of their next of kin. Emergency crews said their injuries were considered non-life-threatening.

The Austin Police Department is currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident.
