Pampa – Rollover Accident on State Highway 70

A single-vehicle accident on State Highway 70 in Pampa caused the death of one person, Saturday.
According to the report released by Texas Department of Public Safety, a vehicle was seen traveling along SH 70 when, for reasons that had not yet been determined, it went out of control, drifted to a number of lanes and into a ditch. The car continued on, crashed into a culvert, and rolled over.
The driver of the undescribed vehicle sustained significant injuries as a result of the crash. He later succumbed to his injuries at the scene, as per emergency crews. His identification was withheld pending notification of his next of kin.
No one else was injured.
The Pampa Police Department is still determining the reason the caused the man to lose control over his car. An investigation is ongoing.
