Austin – Woman Injured on Loyola Lane Crash

Austin law enforcement officials are conducting an investigation about a vehicle accident on Loyola Lane near Ed Bluestein Boulevard, early Friday morning.
Just after 2:00 a.m. police responded to a car accident on Loyola Ln in Austin. According to the initial report, a vehicle was trying to pull over near Ed Bluestein Blvd when it crashed into a barrier and drifted into a number of lanes. Police were able to stop the vehicle after a brief chase.
The impact of the crash injured the female driver of the car. She was identified as 27-year-old Ashley Gomez.
No one else was involved in the collision.
Authorities said Gomez was then arrested for evading arrest, leaving the scene of a crash, and driving while under the influence.
