San Antonio – Two-Vehicle Collision on Cavalier Ave

The San Antonio Police Department is conducting an investigation about a vehicle accident Cavalier Avenue, Thursday.

Just after 11:00 p.m., police received a call reporting a vehicle accident on Cavalier Ave involving a pickup truck and SUV. Initial investigation indicates that the pickup truck was traveling along Cavalier when, for reasons that had not yet been determined, it crashed into the SUV. An occupant in the SUV sustained serious injuries as a result of the crash. He was immediately taken to University Hospital where he was listed in critical condition. His identification was withheld pending notification of his immediate family.

An unspecified number of people also sustained injuries and were given medical treatment. It was not confirmed if they were also taken to the hospital for further medical attention.

The crash remains under investigation.
