Odessa – Two-Vehicle Accident on East Loop 338

A fatal vehicle crash on East Loop 338 caused the death of one person and injuries to another, according to a local news source.
Just after 4:00 p.m., police responded to East Loop 338 near JBS Parkway in Odessa to assist in a car accident involving two vehicles. According to the initial reports, a vehicle was seen traveling along the area when it failed to give way to another vehicle, resulting in a crash. The impact of the collision killed the driver of the first vehicle. Meanwhile, the driver of the second car sustained injuries and was rushed to a hospital for treatment. Local paramedics said his injuries were considered non-life-threatening.
Based on the initial investigation, police have determined that the first vehicle was attempting to make a turn towards East Loop but failed to yield to the second vehicle.
