Lipscomb County – Alva Howard Died in Auto Collision on SH 305

The man who died in a car versus tree collision on State Highway 305 has been identified by Texas Department of Public Safety, according to a local news source.
The fatality was identified as 81-year-old Alva Howard.
According to initial reports, the incident took place on SH 305 last November 19th, at around 5:30 p.m. Howard was seen driving a vehicle along the highway when, for reasons that had not yet been determined it drifted off the roadway and struck a tree. Howard sustained fatal injuries as a result of the collision. He was pronounced deceased by emergency crews who responded to the scene.
No one else was injured.
Area investigators arrived at the scene to determine the reason that caused Howard to lose control of the car and crashed. Further details will be available soon.
