El Paso – Police Officer Injured in Two-Car Crash on Montana Ave

El Paso law enforcement officials are investigating a vehicle accident on Montana Avenue that resulted in injuries of a police officer, Sunday.
At around 11:00 p.m., police received a call reporting a crash at 11500 Montana Avenue near Lee Boulevard. According to the report, a vehicle was seen traveling along the roadway when, for reasons that had not yet been determined, it struck the rear of a police vehicle. The impact of the crash injured the officer occupying the police cruiser. He was rushed to a hospital for treatment of his injuries that were considered minor. He was not identified by local authorities.
Meanwhile, the driver of the car was arrested for drinking while under the influence of alcohol. He was identified as 23-year-old Lexis Croysdill.
