Snyder – Elderly Woman Killed in CR 253 Crash Identified

Snyder law enforcement officials identified the woman who passed away in an auto crash on County Road 253, last Friday.

The fatality was identified as 83-year-old Earline Nealie Stroud.

According to initial reports, Stroud was driving a 2018 Toyota Rav 4 when, for reasons that had not yet been determined, it crashed into another car. The impact of the collision seriously injured Stroud. She later succumbed to her injuries, as per emergency crews.

No other injuries were reported.

Police did not release information about the driver of the second vehicle. No charges have been filed as the investigation is still in progress.
