Marshall – Car versus Truck Collision on Texas 43

A man was killed when a truck collided with a vehicle on Texas 43, Tuesday.
In the report released by Texas Department of Public Safety, a vehicle was seen traveling along the southbound lane of State Highway 43 when, for reasons that had not yet been determined, it crashed into a truck-tractor that was towing a semi-trailer. The details surrounding the collision remain unclear at this time but it was confirmed that the driver of the semi-truck suffered from unspecified injuries as a result of the accident. He was taken to Good Shepard Medical Center where he received further medical care.
Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle was pronounced deceased by emergency crews who responded to the scene.
No identification has been released pending notification of next of kin.
The crash remains under investigation.
