Dallas – Motorcycle Collision on I-30 Leaves Officer Injured

A police officer was injured following a collision with another car on Interstate 30, Friday morning.
At around 11:45 a.m., local authorities responded to I-30 Frontage Road near North Jim Miller Road to assist in a wreck between a motorcycle and a pickup truck. Initial investigation shows that a city patrol bike was seen along the roadway when its rear was struck by a pickup truck. The rider of the bike, who was also a police officer, sustained minor injuries. He was treated by emergency crews.
No other injuries were reported.
Dallas law enforcement officials also arrived at the scene to assist in the clearing of the site. They have yet to determine the reason that caused the pickup truck to struck the officer’s bike.
An investigation is ongoing.
