El Paso – Motorcycle Crash on Pellicano Dr

A motorcycle rider has succumbed to his injuries following a deadly collision with another vehicle on Pellicano Drive near Americas High School.

At around 9:00 p.m., El paso local firefighters responded to Pellicano Dr near Ted Houghton Drive to assist in a crash between a 2008 Honda CBR motorcycle and a 2019 Nissan Altima. According to the preliminary crash report, the Nissan was heading east on Pellicano when it made a turn into Americas HS parking lot and crashed into the Honda motorcycle. The impact of the crash knocked the motorcyclist to the ground, leaving him with fatal injuries. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries Thursday morning. His identification has yet to be determined.

Based on the investigation, the driver of the Nissan failed to yield the right of way to the motorcycle which prompted the crash.
