Tarrant County – Callie Ivy Died in Head-on Collision on FM 1902

The 14-year-old girl from Rio Vista has been identified by local police following the deadly car accident on Farm to Market Road 1204, Monday morning.

According to reports, the incident occurred at the intersection of FM 1204 and County Road 1102 at around 2:40 a.m. An undescribed vehicle was traveling along the area when its driver lost control of the car and crashed into a wooded area. Callie Ivy, who was one of the occupants in the said car, sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. Another occupant was also injured and transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. His condition remains unknown at this time.

The Department of Public Safety is still determining the reason why the driver lost control of the car. An investigation is underway.
