Burleson – Bus vs Sedan Crash on SW Wilshire Blvd

At least one person was injured after a vehicle collision on Southwest Wilshire Boulevard.
Just before 6:00 p.m., Burleson local police were requested at the intersection of Wicker Hill Road and SW Wilshire Boulevard to assist in a crash involving a bus and a sedan. According to the report, a Joshua ISD bus was seen traveling along the vicinity when, for reasons that had not yet been determined, it collided with an undescribed sedan. The force of the impact trapped the driver of the sedan inside the wreckage. He had to be extricated by local paramedics and was transported to a local hospital where they received medical treatment. His condition was not immediately disclosed.
Fortunately, no one in the bus sustained any injuries. The driver was unharmed as well.
