Granbury – Two-Car Crash on FM 2580 Leaves 1 Dead

A Granbury woman was killed after getting into a vehicle accident on Farm to Market Road 2580, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
At around 6:30 p.m., a two-car collision was reported at the 6800 block of FM 2580. A 2002 Ford F-250 pickup truck had been traveling along the northbound lane when, for reasons that had not been determined yet, it drifted into the opposing lanes and crashed into a southbound 2016 Mitsubishi SUV. The driver of the SUV was immediately taken to Lake Granbury Medical Center where she later died of the injuries she sustained. She was identified as Krystal Lee Shelton Snyder, 39, of Granbury.
Meanwhile, the driver of the pickup truck, identified as 32-year-old Christopher T. Nicholls, of Palm Harbor, Florida, was rushed to John Peter Smith hospital in Fort for treatment. The extent of his injuries was not disclosed.
The crash remains under investigation.
