Orange County – Two Injured in Rollover Crash on Interstate 10

An early morning crash last Monday resulted in injuries on Interstate 10, a local news source reported.

At around 2:15 a.m., Orange County law enforcement officials were dispatched to Interstate 10 following a report of a collision involving one car. According to the rpeort, a 2003 Ford Mustang was traveling along the eastbound lane of the highway when it crashed into a concrete barrier. Upon impact, the vehicle overturned several times, leaving its driver fatally injured. He was sent to CHRISTUS St. Elizabeth hospital with serious injuries along with his passenger with injuries that did seem to be life-threatening. Their condition was not disclosed at this time.

Authorities withheld the victims’ identification pending notification of their next of kin.

Texas DPS is still investigating this accident but they believed that the driver might have dozed off.
